OM-X Soap is a beauty soap formulated with plant-based fermented extracts made by fermenting dozens of plants with lactic acid bacteria.
It contains a wide range of nutrients produced by lactic acid bacteria, such as amino acids, vitamins, and minerals.
The natural power of ingredients such as lavender, yuzu, goji berry, mugwort, shiitake mushroom, loquat leaf, fig, blueberry, and maitake mushroom is gently infused into the soap through the cold process method, working as nourishment for beautiful skin.
OM-X Soap uses a plant-based fermented extract made from dozens of botanicals fermented with lactic acid bacteria.
The non-heated fermentation process helps preserve a wide variety of nutrients such as amino acids, vitamins, and minerals produced by the bacteria.
These various components work in synergy to help balance the skin, and the fermented extract also supports hydration.
Natural ingredients like lavender, yuzu, goji berry, mugwort, shiitake, loquat leaf, fig, blueberry, and maitake act as nutrition for the skin.
There are two main soap-making methods: the “neutralization method” and the “saponification method.”
Soaps made using the neutralization method contain less moisturizing ingredients and often require preservatives.
In contrast, the saponification method is known for producing soap rich in glycerin—a natural moisturizer. It involves reacting high-quality plant oils (such as palm and coconut oil) with alkali in a kettle, allowing time for aging and purification. This process naturally produces plant-derived glycerin during manufacturing.
Among saponification methods, the cold process method involves slow, low-temperature reactions by skilled artisans, resulting in a higher glycerin content.
This gentle, low-temperature aging process allows moisturizing ingredients to blend smoothly into the soap.
