Revitalizing Plants by Improving Microbial Balance in the Soil
BioBank’s specialized fertilizers work by activating beneficial bacteria in the soil, suppressing harmful microbes, and restoring the soil’s microbial ecosystem—leading to healthier, more resilient crops.
In addition, we offer a variety of environmentally conscious products such as deodorizing fermentation enhancers for livestock compost and odor-eliminating agents for wastewater treatment.
“BTO” is a specialized fertilizer (officially approved and registered as such) that revitalizes weakened plants while improving the microbial ecosystem of the soil.
It features BioBank’s globally recognized, proprietary TH10 lactic acid bacteria, combined with a carefully selected blend of beneficial microorganisms. These are cultured together into a fermented extract designed to work in perfect harmony with plants for optimal growth and health.
“BTO” is a fermented extract produced from carefully selected ingredients such as soybeans, various agricultural products, wild plants, rapeseed meal, and molasses.
It is cultivated slowly and meticulously to enhance the quality of crops and is officially recognized as an organic soil conditioner compliant with Japan’s Organic JAS (Japanese Agricultural Standards) in Okayama Prefecture.
Characteristics of “BTO” Lactic Acid Bacteria Fermentation Extract:
・BTO Solution (A)
BTO Solution (A) is made using the same carefully selected ingredients—soybeans, other agricultural products, wild plants, rapeseed meal, and molasses—and is slowly fermented to ensure maximum microbial activity. It is designed to improve crop quality and meets the standards of Organic JAS certification as a soil conditioner (Okayama Prefecture).
・BTO Solution (B)
BTO Solution (B) primarily contains photosynthetic bacteria that promote the proliferation of beneficial microorganisms. Photosynthetic bacteria serve as food for actinomycetes in the soil, and the proliferated actinomycetes compete with pathogenic fungi (filamentous fungi), thereby inhibiting their growth. As a result, BTO Solution (B) has beneficial effects such as indirectly suppressing the proliferation of pathogenic fungi.
‘BTO’ enables environmentally friendly agriculture, protects the health of producers and consumers, and contributes to the stabilisation of agricultural operations.
・Creating an ideal soil environment
Plants grow with the help of soil microorganisms. The amino acids and minerals in ‘BTO’ activate soil bacteria and promote the fermentation of organic fertilisers. This suppresses the production of gases caused by decay and balances the nutrients in the soil.
・Non-toxic and harmless to plants, soil, and humans
Contains no chemically synthesised substances. Safe for use. Additionally, it is environmentally friendly and does not disrupt natural ecosystems.
・Enhances plants' natural vitality
Useful substances and extracts produced during the fermentation process activate the soil and plants. This promotes plant growth, enhances photosynthesis, accelerates ion absorption by plants, and contributes to improved quality and increased yields.
